John Anthony Gavin, a cherished son, brother, partner, dad and friend, passed away peacefully at his home on June 6th, 2014. His vibrant spirit and infectious laughter will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

John’s life was one filled with love, laughter, and strong bonds with family and friends. He was known for his charismatic personality, his ability to bring people together, and his unwavering devotion to those he loved. His love for his partner Steph, and his children was the most important aspect of his life. He also cherished his reconnection with his son Nathan.
John was the youngest of four children, born to Bridget and John. He grew up alongside his sisters, Lynn (deceased), and his twin sisters, Michelle and Tracey. He was affectionately known as the “Golden Bollocks,” and was very loved by his mother and sisters.
Parents: Bridget and John Gavin, Sisters: Lynn (deceased), Michelle, and Tracey, Partner: Steph, Children: Nathan, Caitlin, and Amelia. He also suffered the loss of 5 babies with his partner Steph.
John worked as a decorating contractor. He also had a long period of working with a special group of best mates, creating many stories.
80’s music, Dancing, Spending time with family and friends, Bringing people together through shared meals. He loved his family, and to make them happy.
