James Paul Severn

James is  the eldest son of Paul and Alison.  He has one brother Dalton and a sister Alex.  He lived at Athersley South from birth until he was around 15 when he moved to Oakwell.  James struggled at school due to being dyslexic.  He could show you how to do anything but ask him to put it into writing he would then struggle.  The teachers said James would struggle to hold down a job however James proved them wrong.  He went to work with his grandad as soon as he could.  He excelled as soon as he started, he had a thirst for knowledge. He was well respected throughout the trade and for such a young age new a lot.  This was because he started steel erecting straight from school and learned the old way.
