A memorial service to celebrate Eleanor’s life will be held on Wednesday, May 14th, 2025, at 2:00 PM at the Seaside Chapel, Port Haven.

Eleanor Ainsworth, aged 89, passed away peacefully on May 2nd, 2025. Born and raised in a small coastal town, Eleanor was known for her warmth, her love of knitting, and her delicious baked goods. She cherished her family and friends and will be remembered for her kind spirit and gentle nature.

It’s hard to believe you’re no longer with us. Your warmth filled our lives like the smell of your baking always filled the house. I’ll forever cherish the memories of your gentle hands teaching me to knit (even though I was never as good as you!), and the comforting feeling of your hugs. Your kindness touched so many, and your spirit will live on in all of us. We’ll celebrate your life on the 14th, just as you lived it – with love and remembrance.
