Alongside the new website, we've been working on bringing the Loving Memoirs app up to date too. Here's where things currently stand.
What's already live on Android
- Redesigned shop and product pages. Browsing memorial pages, plaques and add-ons in the app now looks and works like the new website — clear pricing, feature lists, and a proper checkout basket.
- Photos, videos and music can now be named. When adding media to a memorial from the app, you can give each photo, video or audio track its own caption, matching what you can already do on the website.
What's coming in the next Android update
The website has moved faster than the app recently, so a few things need to catch up. Our next Android release will bring:
- The new 7-day free trial flow, replacing the old permanent free page in the app.
- Removal of the old free-memorial form the app currently still shows, so app and website are consistent.
We're working on this now — no action needed on your part, the update will simply appear next time the app refreshes on the Play Store.
What about iPhone?
We know a lot of you use iPhone, and we haven't forgotten it. The iOS version of the app is still a work in progress — we want to bring it up to the same standard as Android before releasing it, rather than rushing out something half-finished. We'll post an update here as soon as there's real news.
