An online memorial page example, in full

This is a complete online memorial page example: Doreen Miller's, a real working page with every feature switched on. Look through it piece by piece here, then open it exactly as her family sees it.

How an online memorial page comes together

Four steps, none of them rushed. Most families do the first one in an evening and add the rest over the following weeks.

1 · Tell us about them

A guided form, one gentle step at a time — their name, the dates, the obituary, the story. Save and come back whenever you need to.

2 · Fill it with them

Photographs, video, the songs that were theirs. Upload as much or as little as you have — it can always grow later.

3 · Share the link

One address, and an engraved QR plaque for the headstone, bench or home. Anyone can scan it — no app, no account, no sign-up.

4 · Everyone adds to it

Family and friends leave tributes and memories of their own. You approve each one before it appears.

Make it theirs

Every memorial is laid out like this, in the colours you choose. Change them below — this is the page's real styling, not a picture of it.

Headings, buttons and highlights.

Heavenly Messages

Some things aren't for the page. A heavenly message is a private note written to them and sent — it is never stored, never displayed, and never read by anyone. Not by us, not by the family.

It's there for the birthdays, the anniversaries, and the ordinary Tuesdays when you just need to say something.

Questions people ask

Can I change it after it's live?

Yes — always. Sign in and edit any part of it: the words, the photographs, the music, the colours. Most families add to their page for years, as more photos turn up and more memories get shared.

What if I can't find the words?

Nobody finds this easy. Add our Professional Writing Service for £25 — tell us about them in whatever order it comes out, and we'll write the obituary and life story, revising it until it feels right.

Do I have to fill in every section?

No. Anything left blank simply doesn't appear — no empty headings, no gaps. A page with a photograph and one paragraph looks every bit as considered as Doreen's.

Who can see the page?

Anyone with the link or the plaque's QR code — that's the point of it. There's nothing to sign up for, so elderly relatives and distant family can visit without a hurdle in the way.

Is a free page not enough?

A free page holds a photo and a few words, and isn't kept forever. This one holds galleries, video, music, tributes, heavenly messages and the plaque — and it stays. You can start free and upgrade the same page later.

What happens if we move the page or fix a mistake on it?

The QR code points at a permanent address that we redirect, not at the page itself. Rename it, rewrite it, replace the photographs — a plaque already fixed to a headstone keeps working.
